NobleDead.org - High/Dark Fantasy Fiction by Barb Hendee and J.C. Hendee

Just a quick note today; as we work our way through the copyediting for S3B3: A Wind in the Night, some vendors are already making it available for pre-order. In addition, the cover for Barb’s next volume in the Mist-Torn Witches series has been finalized… along with the back-blurb / cover copy.

Have a peek at what is to come; you can find them both in the “Books” section at NobleDead.org, which is still undergoing more slow and careful transformations. Report any troubles you have there through the “Contact” section, though be aware that having JavaScript enabled is necessary for most of our site.

In the near future, there will come a few cosmetic makeovers for the site and some of its social system satellite pages. Some accessory content at Barb’s old site also still needs to be merged over. There should not be any interruption of services / news out of NobleDead.org.

Barb and J.C. will be present (along with many other authors) at the 2013 Northwest Author Fair hosted by Bob’s Beach Books on August 17th, 2013, in Lincoln City, Oregon.

This will be the final notice, article, update, etc. to pass through BarbHendee.org. All future news from Barb and/or J.C. about published works and other things will be distributed only through NobleDead.org, its direct RSS/Atom feeds, and its linked social system pages.

Final setup for Barb to publish her regular article offerings over at their combined site are under way. Within a week or so, thought after they both complete copyedits for S3B3: A Wind in the Night, Barb will pick up where she left off with regular commentaries and such article series as “Writer’s Corner”… over at NobleDead.org. 

We have begun changing our news distribution feeds. Don’t panic! Our Feedburner.com feeds will continue through this Friday, but our new direct feeds are now available.

If you follow Noble­Dead­.org and/or Barb­Hendee­.org through RSS/Atom feeds, go to Noble­Dead­.org (only) to find the new links in our right-hand column under “Follow ‘NobleDead.org’ You Way.” Change the linked URLs in your preferred news readers now to avoid missing anything. The feeds through BarbHendee.org will be discontinued on Friday.

Followers of our Social System Pages

The RSS feed is also how we distribute articles to 95% of our social system pages. We will connect the new feeds into those pages on Friday as well. You do not need to do anything unless you follow a page linked to Barb­Hendee.org. If so, time to switch over to social pages linked to Noble­Dead.org instead, where Barb will continue her known articles, commentary, and series into the future.

In our careful steps for moving content from Barb­Hendee­.org over to Noble­Dead­.org, there are other changes being made. This coming Friday (July 16th, 2013), we will discontinue using FeedBurner.com for RSS/Atom feeds and deliver such directly from NobleDead.org (only).

NOTE: This will not directly affect anyone following NobleDead.org through its linked social system pages.
